The Holyoke Enterprise let slip one surprising report from the Phillips County Lincoln Day Dinner:

Brian Ivers spoke on behalf of Congressional candidate Diggs Brown. Also speaking to the Republican delegation were Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck, who will announce he’s running for U.S. Senate in April;

Ken Buck was previously exploring a bid for attorney general before John Suthers decided to run for another term. He has also been rumored in the past to be eyeing a bid for CD-4, currently held by Democrat Betsy Markey.

If he were to run for U.S. Senate, he would join likely candidates Ryan Frazier and Bob Beauprez in a primary.
